In “Educating Students in the Computer Age to Be Multilingual by Hand,” Dr. Berninger makes the case for teaching both handwriting (manuscript and cursive) and keyboarding as she discusses the research on developmental steppingstones, individual differences, and other factors that play a role in learning these skills.
