An Engaging New Curriculum for Grades K-6

Program Components

The new Voices Literature & Writing offers everything you need to enrich your literacy instruction.

Teacher Read-Alouds are the core of this program. These culturally diverse trade books provide equal access to shared content and are the springboard for discussion and writing. In Grades K-3, five are included in each theme, and three books are included in Grades 4-6.

A Teacher Guide for each theme provides manageable, clearly organized activities and instruction

  • to promote partner work, develop listening vocabulary, and deepen comprehension through talking and writing about the literature.
  • to deliver writing minilessons and guide the theme's process-based writing project.
