The National Association of State Boards of Education (NASBE) Releases Social-Emotional Learning Policy Brief

NASBE recently released a Social-Emotional Learning Policy Brief—the first in their new From Practice to Policy series—reinforcing the connection between social-emotional learning (SEL), bullying prevention, and academic achievement.

With SEL, as the Policy Brief explains, students develop competencies such as self-awareness, responsible decision-making, and conflict resolution. Equipping students with these skills, in turn, fosters a positive school climate where incidents of bullying are reduced and academic performance is improved.

Download the Social-Emotional Learning Policy Brief to learn more about how SEL can help your school.
