Author and Bio

A former primary school teacher, Jennifer Jacobson received her bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Lesley College and her master's degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is the author of 14 children’s books, including the award-winning Andy Shane and the Very Bossy Dolores Starbuckle.

Along with presenting at library, reading, and writing conferences, Jennifer teaches seminars on the teaching of writing, often spending a couple of days with teachers before going into the classroom for several days to model lessons and writing conferences.1

Summary of Book

No More “I’m Done!” by Jennifer Jacobson is a must read for all primary educators, especially first year teachers and those just beginning the process of implementing writer’s workshop. Elementary principals and staff developers will find this book an excellent resource as they work with their teachers during staff meetings and/or professional development workshops.
