Author and Bio

Kate Messner is an award-winning author of children’s books. Her book, The Brilliant Fall of Gianna Z. won the E.B. White Read Aloud Award for Older Readers. Kate is also the author of Sugar and Ice and the Marty McGuire chapter book series. A National Board Certified teacher, Kate spent 15 years teaching middle school and currently lives on Lake Champlain with her family.
