As a teacher, instructional coach, principal, and superintendent, she has built a career around one core belief: every single child can learn to read proficiently! A practitioner at heart, Hanlin has mastered the art of translating decades of research into actionable strategies that empower educators to transform classrooms. Her career-changing insights have not only improved reading outcomes but have also inspired countless teachers and leaders to believe in their own capacity to achieve what once seemed impossible.
Hanlin, through her company Angela Hanlin & Associates, works full time as a literacy consultant. She collaborates with schools, teachers, and educational leaders to advance literacy initiatives and transform literacy instruction. Through her work, Hanlin aims to empower educators with the tools and knowledge necessary to create a thriving literacy culture that promotes student success. She is the coauthor of the book It’s Possible! A Leadership Plan for Implementing Quality Reading Instruction and Ensuring Literacy for All.
